THE RULES

- Both players compete as a team against the other teams in a nett competition.

​

- Each player must have at least 6 Tee shots, the remaining 6 Tee shots can be either player.

​

- All players hit off every Tee and your team (2 players) decide which position of the 2 tee  shots you want to play from next. BOTH  players hit from the chosen ball position and continue hitting from the selected shot through to sinking the th ball in the hole.

​

- We will be playing of the White tees.

​

- One score card per team ( scored by the other playing pair)

                                                                                             LONGEST DRIVE

- On the 1st and 14th, all individual Tee shots count, make sure you write your name clearly on the marker card, the first group to go at 10:10, will place the markers last Group at 10:42 are to pick up.

The ball must be on the fairway to count.

                                                                                              NEAREST THE PIN

- On the 7th and 17th, once again, all individual Tee shots count, make sure you write your name clearly on the marker card, the first group to go at 10:10, will place the markers last Group at 10:42 are to pick up.

The ball must be on the Green to count.

                                                                   WAIPU GROUP BOOKING RULES (Condensed)

​

- Each group of four must have a leader (usually lowest handicapper) to keep up with the group in front.

​

- The consumption of alcoholic beverages on the course is "prohibited". Any group found violating this  policy can be be asked to leave the premises immediately and go to Jail. Carts found with spillage and evidence of alcohol (get rid of the cans) may result in further charges applied to the group leader.

​

- Repair ball marks, replace divots, and rake bunkers to maintain the course's condition.

Keep noise levels to a minimum to avoid disturbing other golfers.

​

- All players must adhere to a reasonable dress stand and appropriate footwear. Shoes or boots with deep tread is prohibited on the course.

​

- Failure to comply with any of the policies may result in the group being asked to leave the course.

Repeat violations may lead to the group losing future reservation privileges.

Also, further fees may be applied.

​

-Golf carts must be operated responsibly, using cart paths when present.

Maximum of two riders per golf cart.

Carts must not be driven onto teeing grounds or between bunkers and greens.

All trash must be disposed of properly; littering is not allowed.

                                                                                       PRIZE GIVING

 

- Back the club house (included in green fee)  Pies, Sausage, Rolls, Sandwiches, Samosas etc etc will be served at 3:30 and the bar will be open.

​

- Prize giving will start around 4 pm.

​

- The team with the best nett score will win a round of golf  for 4 at the Formosa Golf resort or Te Puke Country Club.

- The team with the 2nd best nett score will win a round of golf at the  course the best Nett doesn't choose (Formosa Golf resort or Te Puke  Country Club.)

- Prizes for Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive, 2nd place, 3rd place, 4th pace etc (depending on prize pool) will be handed out too.
